PHILIP AND TIFFANY RIVERS
Philip and Tiffany Rivers were both raised in Decature, Alabama. They met in grade school and married in Philip’s second year of college at NC State. From the inception of their relationship they made faith the center and foundation. Faith, family, and football is a phrase commonly used to describe Philip.
Together Philip and Tiffany established the Rivers of Hope Foundation with the mission to help unwanted, abandoned, and orphaned children find permanent loving homes. Their prayers are that these children may find their own sense of self-worth and that future and current parents be open to life, regardless of the situation. The foundation was very successful, however, due to family priorities and NFL football obligations, it is now closed.
In addition to playing an active role in the foundation of Agnus Dei Foundation, the Rivers also support other charities and agencies that include: Catholic Answers, Culture of Life Family Services, Miles Christi religious order, San Diego Catholic Radio, and EWTN.
